Life as a pastoralist livestock keeper owning cattle, sheep, goats, and camels—in arid northern Kenya can be extremely difficult. Pastoralists fight a changing climate that negatively affects their livestock. To address this, Resilience for Economic Growth in the Arid Lands-Accelerated Growth (REGAL-AG) project is constructing modern livestock markets to help alleviate market access constraints and to improve the lives of pastoralists.Client
