Mithoff Burton Partners (MBP) is known as El Paso’s pioneer ad agency. Founded in 1931, it is one of the oldest agencies in Texas and the oldest independent agency member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. MBP is a full-service ad agency, including advertising, marketing communications, online marketing, and public relations services.
The agency was founded by the late Warren T. Mithoff. Following World War II, his son Richard W. Mithoff joined with his father and they, along with long-time agency president Roy Chapman, built one of the largest and most respected agencies in the Southwest. Today, MBP represents a wide variety of local, regional, and national clients, and is widely recognized in the industry for producing award-winning, innovative advertising campaigns, public relations efforts, and marketing communications strategies.
MithoffBurton is a founding member of Worldwide Partners, Inc., headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and the largest owner-operated agency network in the world. Through WPI, MBP offers client-specific expertise and “branch office” services via 96 independent agencies in 143 offices. These offices are located in 56 countries across Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America.
The agency’s major national professional affiliations are the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and the American Advertising Federation.
Bill Burton is Chairman and CEO, Peter Fraire serves as President and Executive Creative Director, and Chana Azar Burton is Executive Vice President, Account Services. The principals and staff hold numerous leadership positions in civic, cultural, and charitable organizations in the El Paso region.
